Dr. Arvind Kumar is an eminent Medical Oncologist and has been trained at AIIMS, New Delhi. He has done DM in Medical Oncology from AIIMS Delhi and he is the first DM in Medical Oncology in Bihar who has returned to his native state after getting DM degree. He has nearly 12 years’ experience in the field of Medical Oncology with elaborate experience in treating patients with Hematological Malignancy (Leukemia, Lymphoma, and Multiple Myeloma), Solid tumors (Head and Neck Malignancy, Gastro Intestinal Malignancy, Breast Cancer, Lung Cancer and Genito-Urinary malignancy), Bone Marrow Transplant (HSCT), Palliative and Best supportive care. Apart from treatment of Cancers he also has expertise in management of complications arising from chemotherapy. He had presented his research work at national and International conferences, published his research work in reputed international journals. He has decided to serve his native people with evidence based practice and a diagnosis and management that is at par with any Cancer center in India. She had nearly 10 years of experience in performing surgery of diverse Gynecological malignancy. Presently she is posted as Consultant Gynec Oncosurgeon at Mahavir Cancer Centre, Patna which is second highest Volume Cancer Centre in India after TMH Mumbai. Her keen area of interest includes complex Gynec Onco surgery like wertheim’s Hysterectomy, Total abdominal hysterectomy with Bl Salphingo Hysterectomy and Omentectomy and Laparascpoic Gyneceological surgery. She had participated in many national and international conferences. She had been selected for ESMO Preceptorship at Singapore in 2017. Her vision to start Rxcancer comes from the earnest desire of cancer patients from second and third tier cities of India to get reviewed from top most oncologist from big cancer centres of India. Many patients were not able to travel to metro cities to get opinion from apex cancer centres due to various reasons. The patients and their relatives always have a pain that they could have visited higher centres. Even if they were able to travel they could sought opinion from one or two Oncologist and that too from same metro cities in most cases. Internet have reached the remotest villages of India. She had versioned to give the best possible advice to a cancer patient in the remotest part of India by the best expert of Oncology from India.
